Weekend in Texas

Posted By on December 15, 2009

Unfortunately Quinn and I had to go to Texas this weekend. Quinn’s sister Tracy lost her beloved husband after a long battle with cancer. He fought a good fight. He survived Pancreatic cancer for almost 9 years until it reared its ugly head in his bones this summer. It was finally diagnosed in October.

Louis “Rob” Robinson will be sorely missed. He is walking with the angels now and for that we are eternally grateful. It was nice to see Tracy and the girls. The service was very beautiful. Thanks to Brother Dustin for his kind words and the encouragement he has given, and will continue to give to Tracy. God Bless you.

Casey gave a long talk about her Dad. If was wonderful and sweet. She held up very well…a lot better than I. We miss Tracy and the girls and don’t see them often enough. Tell someone you love that you love them. Tomorrow isn’t promised. We find hope in Jesus.

Y’all come back now!

About the author

I am a work at home Mom of two of the best boys ever. I am a Nationally Certified Master Groomer and have been grooming out of my home for the last 12 years. We have recently moved to Greenbrier Tn on 27 acres. We are new to the "homesteading thing" but we are excited to learn. We hope to be filling our farm with many critters and a garden. We are homeschoolers so everything is a unit study to us. It has been fun to see the boys help Dad cut firewood. We will also be learning how to build a chicken coop in the near future as well. I have been making handcrafted soap lately as well and I am seeing an improvement in that business as well. It is all natural vegetable and goat milk based soaps. Can't wait to share this experience with everyone.
