We are trying to put some final touches on the place before the big shindig. Quinn just had his 55th Birthday so we are celebrating his oldness on Saturday. If you are in town you can share in the festivities anytime after 2pm. Please bring a dish to share and maybe an instrument to play around the bonfire.

We had new handrails put up at the front steps! They are so beautiful and I am glad they got up before the party so I don’t worry about people falling on the stairs. Eventually we will cover the brick walkway with concrete so that it is not so uneven.

We also got some really neat solar lights for the front walk. It gets really dark in the country so we wanted people to see where they are going.

I am a work at home Mom of two of the best boys ever. I am a Nationally Certified Master Groomer and have been grooming out of my home for the last 12 years. We have recently moved to Greenbrier Tn on 27 acres. We are new to the "homesteading thing" but we are excited to learn. We hope to be filling our farm with many critters and a garden. We are homeschoolers so everything is a unit study to us. It has been fun to see the boys help Dad cut firewood. We will also be learning how to build a chicken coop in the near future as well. I have been making handcrafted soap lately as well and I am seeing an improvement in that business as well. It is all natural vegetable and goat milk based soaps. Can't wait to share this experience with everyone.

    Looks beautiful, we tried to figure out how to come up, but…too many irons in the fire for this weekend. Bummer!!
