Three Little Peeps
I just couldn’t resist. The boys had a left over Peep container from Easter and I saw it on the counter and thought about how cute that would be if I had baby chicks to put in it. Voila! Sam’s new peeps fit perfectly and Quinn takes the best pictures so… the cutest chick picture we have ever taken.
These chicks know they are special. Besides the paparazzi photos being taken of them all day, our Border Collie was left unattended in the garage (somehow) with the peeps and when I went into the garage I was surprised to find Bullet in hyper babysitting mode… he was in the pool with the chicks! All the chicks were fine and there was no excessive peeping so I guess they were fine with a big furry dog sharing their space. He got a big scolding and so did the kids.

Loved all of the photos but would have loved one of Bullet in the dog house (I mean chicken house) more! That peeps photo is priceless! You go girl!! Just keep that camera handy.
Sam, I will be excited to see your journal about your chicks. It will be interesting to see how you like being their ‘mama’. Just watch out who you choose to guard the hen house!

Yes, it would have been a great picture. If I had been a fly on the wall and knew everything was just fine and I didn’t have steam coming out of my ears because of the lack of attention to where the dog actually was….I still would never have been able to get that shot. Bullet is one of the best dogs I have ever had but that freaked me out.
Oh, I wish you had a picture of Bullet in the pool with the chicks. I bet that was a site!
Hey you ought to send that picture ot the Peeps company. They might want to use it in their advertising. It is soooo cute!
