We have had a very busy week so far. I have been fortunate to have a lot of grooming this week and I have been gearing up for Vacation Bible School. Things there are starting to come together nicely.

My oldest child is also in line for some dental surgery a week from tomorrow. We had our pre-op with anesthesia this morning. As most of you know he was born with a cranial facial abnormality known as Goldenhar Syndrome. He has had 6 major surgeries and well over 2 dozen procedures in his young life but he takes them all in stride. We would ask you to pray for him on the 19th as the Lord leads you.
So amid all the stress and hustle and bustle of everyday life we are amazingly grateful for chickens. Chickens!? You might ask. Yes, chickens. I could sit and watch them sunbathe and scratch for bugs for hours. All the while, feeling my blood pressure reduce and my muscles start to relax. Everybody has trials and tribulations in their life and for me I am grateful for chickens.
I think even C.C. the cat enjoys watching the chickens…although it is probably for different reasons.
