Rainbow

I had just gotten back in from the barn today when it started to pour. I thought to myself how luck I was to be back in before it unleashed. It was still pretty out so it was hard to believe that it was raining. Then I remembered the egg basket on the back porch. I had set it on the table on the porch to talk on the phone. We don’t get cell coverage in the house so to use the cell I have to step outside. Anyway, when I went out to retrieve the eggs I just happened to glance over to the goat yard and saw this.

I don’t think I have ever seen a more colorful rainbow.

When I see rainbows I think of Noah and how anxious and overworked he must of felt. How he must have felt to see the promise of God displayed like that. We too have been through a bit of a storm around here. With the first time for a goat to go into labor and have it go so terribly wrong and trying to nurse her back to health. As stressful as all that was I am grateful to God for all the things that went right that weekend. It was very comforting to know that the creator God has everything in his control and for his purpose.
