This weekend was so beautiful! 63 degrees and sunny, it was a taste of spring that we thought would never come. Hard to believe that the low tomorrow is supposed to be 19 degrees. Yikes. I was happy the warm weather was on the weekend so that Quinn could enjoy it with us.

After church we went on a hike on the property. The boys love to go exploring! We headed down the slope and found lots of cool things.

It was a very cool walk. We saw lots of really neat things, like the creek disappearing. Jacob found a geode as well. We ascended the hill to the right of the last picture. Forgive me for not taking pictures on the way up, I was trying to breathe stay on my feet. We saw a bunch of mounds of dirt at the top and said that it looked like indian mounds. It was a fun day in the woods.

I am a work at home Mom of two of the best boys ever. I am a Nationally Certified Master Groomer and have been grooming out of my home for the last 12 years. We have recently moved to Greenbrier Tn on 27 acres. We are new to the "homesteading thing" but we are excited to learn. We hope to be filling our farm with many critters and a garden. We are homeschoolers so everything is a unit study to us. It has been fun to see the boys help Dad cut firewood. We will also be learning how to build a chicken coop in the near future as well. I have been making handcrafted soap lately as well and I am seeing an improvement in that business as well. It is all natural vegetable and goat milk based soaps. Can't wait to share this experience with everyone.

    Looks like everyone had a great time, I even saw Roscoe in one of the photos! What a fun day! Nice to have a reprieve from the winter once in a while. Love you all bunches, MOM/Grammy
