It was nice out on Saturday so the boys helped their dad chop wood and then they were rewarded with a BB gun shooting and education session.

The instruction

They were so excited to get a chance to shoot. The gun came with some BB’s already in it and that was fortunate because we couldn’t find the extras that we got for Christmas.

The boys were both able to take turns shooting but Quinn says that they were not able to pump the gun… it’s just too hard to move the mechanism at this time. Good to know, but they still need the gun safety lessons.

Quinn got a few targets from one of the gun stores around here. He also printed several off the internet so they would have a variety.

I think Quinn had fun too. We found the bottle of BB’s the next day. The cat had hidden them from us. It was a good day!

I am a work at home Mom of two of the best boys ever. I am a Nationally Certified Master Groomer and have been grooming out of my home for the last 12 years. We have recently moved to Greenbrier Tn on 27 acres. We are new to the "homesteading thing" but we are excited to learn. We hope to be filling our farm with many critters and a garden. We are homeschoolers so everything is a unit study to us. It has been fun to see the boys help Dad cut firewood. We will also be learning how to build a chicken coop in the near future as well. I have been making handcrafted soap lately as well and I am seeing an improvement in that business as well. It is all natural vegetable and goat milk based soaps. Can't wait to share this experience with everyone.
