Happy Birthday Samuel!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday!

It is hard to believe that my baby is 10 years old!  They are growing up so fast.  We got up this morning and went to IHOP (International House Of Pancakes) for breakfast.  We did remember the camera so we are going in the right direction, however, we forgot to use it!   Samuel ordered a giant pancake covered in whipped cream and chocolate chips and then poured a lake of syrup over it.  After we were done the waitresses came singing with a big bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Who ever heard of  ice cream for breakfast?!  Only on your birthday I suppose.  It might be several days before the boys come down from their sugar rush.

Samuel got a wood burning kit and a LED flashlight with whistle.  He has already tested all of it out.  He also got a Aerocopter (a flying toy propelled by a rubber band)  It is supposed to shoot 300 feet in the air. Today is very windy and rainy so that will have to be left for another day.

We are off to church tonight for more celebration with friends.

Y’all come back now.

About the author

I am a work at home Mom of two of the best boys ever. I am a Nationally Certified Master Groomer and have been grooming out of my home for the last 12 years. We have recently moved to Greenbrier Tn on 27 acres. We are new to the "homesteading thing" but we are excited to learn. We hope to be filling our farm with many critters and a garden. We are homeschoolers so everything is a unit study to us. It has been fun to see the boys help Dad cut firewood. We will also be learning how to build a chicken coop in the near future as well. I have been making handcrafted soap lately as well and I am seeing an improvement in that business as well. It is all natural vegetable and goat milk based soaps. Can't wait to share this experience with everyone.
