It's only a bribe if the reward is for doing a wrong act. Otherwise, a reward, whether it's the feeling one gets for a virtuous act, the opportunity for an activity one enjoys or seeks, or some material or symbolic item, or attention, or food, or the opportunity to avoid something unpleasant, is a reward.

Love the hair!
and bribing, er, games, is a great motivation for my boys. My junior (w/ learning challenges) is up, showered, and doing his independant work before any of his siblings are even up. why? cuz we just finally replaced our PS3, and he can play it before our table group studies at noon/1:ish if ALL his other work is done! ;^D
btw...what is it w/ boys and the desire for a mohawk? lol it never seems to get outdated??
