Bullet, on the job
I have two roosters who are soon to leave this farm. My most pretty rooster, Adonis, has turned bad. He has taken to attacking the boys and this morning he went after me. Wonder Dog Bullet stepped in and saved my life. He started going after Adonis to keep him busy so I could escape. He also protected the boys the same way when they went out for kindling.
The weather was so nice this past weekend I almost forgot it was January. It was sunny and 60 degrees. All that changed Saturday night with severe storms and torrential rain. Now it is snowing!
New water trough
The rain filled up the new water trough I bought for the goats and this morning the top was frozen. You can even see snow on the ice.
It is also very windy today and I have been wondering if the goat shed was enough for them to get in out of the wind. Well, when I went around the corner I found all the chickens in there.
Look at the snow come down!
It was a pretty sight. Here are three girls making a run for the goat shed.
Run! The sky is falling!
