Well it is a beautiful day on the farm.  This sun is out in full force.  We have had  roller coaster weather the last couple of days.  It was in the 60′s on Sat! We were able to transplant one of my apple trees from the old house the other day.  Now we have the makings of an orchard.  There were two apple trees already on the property.  I cannot wait for homemade apple butter, yum.

The boys are busy with their school work.  Samuel is really enjoying the experiments in Science.  He really enjoys the fact that he can do them on his own.  Truth be known…so do I.

Jacob is becoming quite the speller but really enjoys math more than the other subjects.

When I went out to take the photos and the clouds had moved in already.  I think there is snow in those clouds.  Sorry Mollie.  It has turned very windy and cold.  Yes, we did see a few flakes!

Ya’ll come back now!

About the author

I am a work at home Mom of two of the best boys ever. I am a Nationally Certified Master Groomer and have been grooming out of my home for the last 12 years. We have recently moved to Greenbrier Tn on 27 acres. We are new to the "homesteading thing" but we are excited to learn. We hope to be filling our farm with many critters and a garden. We are homeschoolers so everything is a unit study to us. It has been fun to see the boys help Dad cut firewood. We will also be learning how to build a chicken coop in the near future as well. I have been making handcrafted soap lately as well and I am seeing an improvement in that business as well. It is all natural vegetable and goat milk based soaps. Can't wait to share this experience with everyone.
