Glad to be home

admin | July 30, 2009

My boys were at a cabin in Helen, Ga for the week with my parents.
I know…It wasn’t the kind of ‘cabin’ I was expecting, but then my parents are not ones for “roughing it”. This ‘cabin’ will sleep 11. The kitchen was amazing, big and fully stocked with all the appliances.
I will post [...]

New Toy

admin | July 25, 2009

I got my new toy when I dropped off the boys with the Grandparents. They had given me a dehydrator for my birthday but let me pick out the one I wanted and it was shipped to them so they brought it up with them.
I am on my way to dehydrating everything in the [...]

admin | July 21, 2009

I realized that I had not posted any of the beautiful scenery from the Fruit Farm

This is the store they had. You could pick your own peaches for 89cents a pound or you could buy what they picked for you. We chose to pick for ourselves.

It was a long way [...]

Yesterday was a busy day for my clan. Quinn had to work but I didn’t have any dogs on a Saturday for a change. One of the adult Sunday school classes has partnered with the fourth grade class this year and they had a field trip to Lynnville Tn. The Hagewood’s have [...]

Lumberjack

admin | July 9, 2009

I took Samuel to the dentist today to get the spacers put in after the dental surgery 3 weeks ago. They all said how brave he was. Now we have yet another challenge with eating. Again. I think we are going to have to blend things for awhile.

When [...]

Shabby Chic Chickens

admin | July 7, 2009

Well my husband the chicken farmer was at it again today. His talent is amazing. He developed and executed the plan for the nest boxes. After the last set of boxes was donated I realized that we needed boxes for Samuel’s 4-H chickens. I went online to see what they might [...]
